The enclosed back garden earns its keep with a hot tub, hammock, and enough lawn for a full game of croquet, while a curated desert garden at the front frames sweeping sunset views. More Mesa Open Space, with its mountain and ocean vistas and a secluded beach, is less than a mile away – and downtown Santa Barbara is a ten-minute drive.

Home truths
A long-term tenant lives in a small annexe on the far side of the home. You may occasionally see them around the garden – they help out with the gardening from time to time.
Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay.
At full occupancy, one guest will sleep on the trundle in the fourth bedroom.
There's no air conditioning here, but the sea breeze does much of the work. Fans are provided throughout the home.
Natural tar deposits can occasionally wash up on nearby beaches – it's a normal part of this stretch of coastline. A tar removal kit is provided by the hot tub, and we'd recommend taking care not to track tar into the house.
Wood is provided for the wood-burning fireplace.
