Gather round a fire pit as dusk settles over the open Catskill countryside – this farmhouse is built for the kind of evenings that linger. Inside, a vaulted main bedroom and a freestanding soaking tub with woodland views bring a calm, unhurried feel to the place. When the snow arrives, Windham Mountain Resort is a short drive away for skiing and snowboarding, and Windham's Main Street – with its restaurants, boutiques, and breweries – sits just 5 miles from the front porch. Come warmer months, hiking trails and kayaking on nearby reservoirs fill the days just as easily.
