Tucked among alpine pines on the western shore of Lake Tahoe, this house earns its keep in every season. The hot tub is the natural end to any day – whether you've been carving runs at Homewood Mountain Resort five minutes away or paddling out on the lake, a five-minute walk from the front door. On warmer evenings, the string-lit deck draws you outside for dinner with the forest canopy overhead, while a fireplace handles the cooler mountain nights. A biking and pedestrian trail right outside connects you to Tahoe City and Tahoma without needing the car.
