Lake Norman sets the backdrop here, and the house makes the most of every angle – a double-height living room frames the water through picture windows, while the kitchen lets you keep an eye on the lake as you cook. Outside, the terrace is set up for alfresco dining above the shoreline, and there's lawn space for games right down to the water's edge. A covered dock means you're never far from the lake itself, and boat and jet ski rentals can be delivered directly to you. Inside, the upper level is divided into two suite-style wings, giving larger groups a welcome sense of space.
