The poolside terrace is the heart of this Carlsbad house – palm-fringed, lounger-lined, and oriented perfectly for sunset watching. Slide open the doors from the back living room and you're straight out there, with a hammock, a fire pit for evenings under the stars, and plenty of room to dine alfresco. The beach is less than a mile away, and Carlsbad Village's shops and restaurants are within easy strolling distance – making this a house that works just as well for doing very little as it does for exploring the coast.

At full occupancy, two guests will sleep on the sofa bed in the living area.
The fourth bedroom is not fully enclosed, so it works best for younger guests rather than anyone needing full privacy.
If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a travel cot and high chair. You'll need to request them in advance.
Guests are asked to keep noise to a minimum between 9pm and 8am.
