Perched above rolling Southern California hills, this villa is built for groups who want resort-style space without sacrificing privacy. Spend the day between the palm-fringed pool terrace and the hot tub, retreat to the shaded gazebo for alfresco dining, then challenge each other to tennis as the valley light fades. Inside, vaulted ceilings give the living and dining spaces real grandeur, and a chef's kitchen handles everything from lazy breakfasts to celebratory dinners. A grand piano, pool table, and arcade games mean evenings rarely wind down early. Escondido's wineries, restaurants, and the San Diego Zoo Safari Park are all close by.

This villa sits in a rural hillside setting, so encounters with wildlife and insects are a normal part of staying here. It's worth keeping doors and windows closed at night, and supervising children and pets when outside after dark.
Although there are fireplaces on site, the villa is in a no-burn zone, so none of the wood-burning fireplaces can be used during your stay.
You'll need to bring your own tennis balls – and pickleball balls if you plan on playing – as these aren't supplied. The tennis court lights are also not available to use, so plan your games for daylight hours.
Grounds staff may be on site at various points during your stay to maintain the estate. It's not a daily intrusion, but worth knowing if you're after complete privacy.
