Featured in House & Garden magazine, this pair of historic eighteenth-century lodges overlooking the South Downs has everything set for a peaceful countryside retreat. Surrounded by ancient woodland and reached by a private road, it’s been thoughtfully transformed into a comfortable yet creative abode, with standout details throughout – from vintage furnishings and lofty ceilings to the grand piano, art, and tapestries. There’s space to gather outdoors, fireplaces for cosy evenings in, and plenty of country walks, historic sites, and even a few vineyards nearby. We think it’s the perfect antidote to busy city living, as long as you don’t mind the occasional sheep traffic.
