We recommend hiring a car for ease of exploring the wider area. You can park one vehicle in the garage and a further two on the driveway, so if you're arriving as a larger group with multiple cars, it's worth coordinating ahead.
Ski-in/ski-out access here applies during the peak winter season – generally late December to mid-February – and is weather dependent. In practice, it means you're within a five-minute walk to the nearest run or lift without needing to drive.
A starter set of consumables – soap, paper products, dish detergent, and similar essentials – is provided on arrival. Once that runs out, restocking is on you, so for longer stays it's worth packing extras or planning a supermarket stop.
