A palm-lined island house a one-to-two-minute walk from the beach, this Isle of Palms retreat earns its easy reputation. Vaulted ceilings, warm wood accents, and plantation shutters make the interior feel light and relaxed, while the wraparound deck – stocked with rocking chairs, a barbecue, and an outdoor shower – is where most of the day happens. The main bedroom opens through French doors onto a screened porch, and lower-deck games like foosball and ping pong keep everyone entertained once the sun dips. Downtown Charleston and Sullivan's Island are both within easy driving distance for when the island pace calls for a change of scene.
