Home truths
The second bedroom is on the mezzanine level and semi-open to the space below, so privacy is limited. This bedroom has a very low ceiling may not be suitable for taller guests. The staircase to this level is also steep and has no handrail, so bear that in mind if you're booking for anyone less sure-footed.
The bathroom sits within the ground-floor bedroom, so anyone sleeping on the mezzanine will need to pass through that room to access it during the night.
If you're travelling with a baby or toddler, your host can provide a cot, high chair, and baby bath. You'll need to request these in advance.
Given the home's central spot, expect to hear some street noise throughout your stay. Two primary schools are on the immediate doorstep, so you'll hear children arriving and leaving during the school day – worth knowing if you're a light sleeper or planning a slow morning.
