This functional two-floor home places Suffolk's storied northern coast and lush interior practically within touching distance. This home is a dog lovers treat, allowing you to bring your furry friend along as you explore the heaths and coastline before returning to warm up around the wood-burning stove. Steep stairs to the bedrooms may make this home impractical for those with limited mobility sadly, but the terrace is a nice touch that lets you spend a lazy afternoon with a book. Outside, the off-road parking makes accessing the home a breeze, while you're also within walking distance of pubs, antique shops, and galleries here.

Home truths

Your host can provide a cot for free on request.

Dogs are welcome to join you but are not allowed upstairs, on the furniture, or to be home alone.

At full occupancy, one guest will be sleeping on a pull-out bed in the single bedroom. This makes space a little tight.

The stairs up to the bedrooms are quite steep.

The home is directly next to a main road, so expect to hear some noise during the day and early morning. We'd suggest packing earplugs if you're a light sleeper.

We recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay. There’s free parking here. The location may also mean that you might find that the phone signal is patchy from time to time.

The interior is basic in parts here and may not be to everyone's taste.
