Home truths
Underground train noise is audible from inside the apartment, roughly every five minutes during the day. It settles overnight, but if you're a light sleeper you may want to pack earplugs.
Parking in Kensington can be tricky and expensive, so we recommend getting around on foot or by public transport where possible. High Street Kensington Underground is a short walk away, and several other Tube stations are also within easy reach.
Your host can provide a cot and high chair for little ones upon request – just bring your own cot linen.
At full occupancy, two guests will sleep on the sofa bed. We think it might feel a little cramped, so we recommend a guest count of two.

About Kensington
Affluent and incredibly central, Kensington is a great base for exploring London on foot. Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park are on your doorstep and so are the Victoria and Albert, Science, and Natural History Museums. The streets are attractive and well maintained (grand, white stucco facades aplenty) and your neighbours will be a wealthy, conservative set. Lots of positives but probably not the place to let your hair down.
