Perfectly placed on a leafy Kensington street, this studio apartment puts Kensington Gardens moments from your front door – with the Tube a short walk away when you want to venture further afield. Inside, the all-in-one place is as stylish as it is practical. Earthy tones create a calm, welcoming atmosphere, making it easy to unwind after a day exploring. The kitchen is surprisingly generous for a studio, although with so many excellent cafes, restaurants and pubs nearby, you may find yourself eating out more often than not.

Home truths
There is an above-ground section of the Underground line behind the building, so you may occasionally hear trains passing. It's brief and shouldn't disturb sleep – though if you're noise-sensitive, we suggest packing earplugs.
There's a local shop roughly 100 metres from the front door and an another at the Underground station, so picking up groceries or essentials is straightforward without needing to go far.
Your host can provide a cot for little ones upon request – just bring your own cot linen.

About Kensington
Affluent and incredibly central, Kensington is a great base for exploring London on foot. Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park are on your doorstep and so are the Victoria and Albert, Science, and Natural History Museums. The streets are attractive and well maintained (grand, white stucco facades aplenty) and your neighbours will be a wealthy, conservative set. Lots of positives but probably not the place to let your hair down.
