Hyde Park views from a London apartment are a real luxury – and from the living space here, you get them in full. The bright, communal feel of the kitchen, dining, and sitting areas makes it easy to settle in, whether you're here for the evening or lingering over a slow morning. Step outside and Holland Park is a short walk away, with the Japanese Kyoto Garden and woodland trails offering a quiet contrast to the city bustle. It's a well-placed base for West London, with the shops and restaurants of Holland Park Avenue right on the doorstep.

Home truths
There's no lift here. You'll need to be able to climb stairs to reach the entrance of the home.
The third bedroom has a small double bed which is best suited to one adult or two children. This room doesn't have a window or wardrobe either, so it's worth bearing that in mind when assigning rooms.
Your host can provide a cot for little ones upon request – just bring your own cot linen.
Parking here can be tricky, so we recommend sticking to easily accessible public transport where possible.

About Kensington
Affluent and incredibly central, Kensington is a great base for exploring London on foot. Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park are on your doorstep and so are the Victoria and Albert, Science, and Natural History Museums. The streets are attractive and well maintained (grand, white stucco facades aplenty) and your neighbours will be a wealthy, conservative set. Lots of positives but probably not the place to let your hair down.
