Tucked within a private farm estate in Lower Oddington, this honey-stone Cotswolds cottage is the kind of place where slowing down feels effortless. Gather round the log burner on a cold evening, then wake up to alfresco breakfasts on the patio with nothing but birdsong for company. A stone spiral staircase leads to the first floor, where skylights pour light over a roll-top bath and a bed dressed with a hand-stitched quilt. A farmshop is a 1.5-mile walk through the countryside, Stow-on-the-Wold is a ten-minute drive, and Bourton-on-the-Water is just 3 miles away.

Home truths
You'll reach the bedroom and en-suite by climbing a spiral stone staircase – it won't suit those with mobility considerations or difficulty with stairs.
The lawn area just outside the cottage is shared with guests staying in the holiday let next door, so you may have neighbours in close proximity during your stay.
This cottage is designed for two grown-ups – it's not suitable for infants.
There's free parking for one car on the grounds. We suggest hiring a car to make the most of the location.
There is an outdoor pool near the owner's residence on the estate, but it is not available for guest use. Dogs will need to be supervised when outdoors, as the areas around the owner's home are private – plus the lawn is not fenced.
