Perched on the top floor of a historic building above Greve's oldest butcher shop, this apartment has one of Chianti's most coveted addresses – a communal terrace looking directly out over Piazza Matteotti and the surrounding rooftops. The apartment is on the top floor and the building's lift only reaches the fourth floor – you'll need to climb a few additional steps to reach your front door. If mobility is a concern, it's worth factoring this in before booking. The lift only fits one person and one suitcase at a time.
The bedroom sits away from the piazza side, so you'll sleep more quietly than you might expect in a town-centre apartment. The living room faces the square, which is where the buzz – and the views – are, so expect a bit of noise.
