The apartment is on the third floor of a historic building with no lift – you'll be climbing around sixty narrow steps every time you arrive or head out. We'd recommend packing light or booking luggage assistance with your host in advance.
The apartment sits above a lively piazza and surrounding streets, so there can be noise from outside – particularly in the evenings. Most guests find that closing the windows keeps things comfortably quiet.
If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair. It's worth requesting these in advance to make sure everything is ready on arrival.
The living room has a double sofa bed, which your host will set up if you're arriving as a group of three or four. Let them know ahead of time so the apartment is ready when you get there.
The hot water runs from a 60-litre electric boiler that takes roughly an hour to recharge, so shorter showers of around ten to fifteen minutes are recommended.
