Perched on a hillside above Bardolino, this apartment looks out over Lake Garda from a private terrace and garden shaded by towering agave plants – the kind of outlook that makes an evening aperitif feel like a ritual. Two thousand square metres of wild, natural grounds surround you, with a brick wood-fired barbecue and a table positioned at the most scenic point. There are two private parking spaces here, reached via a dirt road from the gate. If you're arriving by car – which we'd recommend given the hillside location – factor in that the access road is unpaved.
The apartment sits on the ground floor, but the parking area is uphill, connected to the entrance by a garden staircase. You'll be carrying bags up and down those steps on arrival and departure.
The washing machine is located on the lower level, in the room with the additional lounge and games area – a floor down from the main living space.
If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot. You'll need to request it in advance.
This home does not accept groups of young people (up to 24 years of age).
