Herringbone floors, veined marble, and Haussmann rooftops framed in the bedroom window – this Le Marais apartment has an elegance to it that feels distinctly Parisian. The design is clean and contemporary, and is well-enough equipped that, more than a city base, it's an inviting spot for relaxed evenings at home. Step outside and you're a short walk from Place des Vosges, the Centre Pompidou, and the cobblestone streets that make Le Marais one of the most rewarding parts of the city to simply wander – with independent boutiques, cafes, and bakeries at every turn.

Home truths

  • At full occupancy, two guests will sleep on the sofa bed in the living area.

  • You won't find an oven here – though there is a hob. We think the kitchen is better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals.

  • The apartment is on the first floor and accessed via stairs only – there is no lift in the building. If you have mobility considerations, it's worth bearing this in mind before booking.

  • As is common in France, the toilet is separate from the bathroom.

  • Well-behaved pets are welcome to accompany you during your stay.

  • Your host asks you to respect quiet hours between 10pm and 8am.
