If you're travelling with young children or non-swimmers, let your host know at least three days before you arrive so pool and alarm safety setups can be arranged in advance.
For stays of around a week or more, someone will come by during business hours to water the indoor plants, and the pool, maintenance, and landscaping teams will have exterior access on their regular schedule. It's worth bearing in mind if you prefer complete privacy during your stay.
