Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
Tucked into a flower-lined courtyard in the heart of Le Marais, this apartment puts you in one of Paris' most famous neighbourhoods. The interior designer renovation leans into the building's age rather than away from it – centuries-old timber beams frame the main bedroom, where a freestanding bathtub adds an unexpectedly indulgent touch. Place des Vosges, the Centre Pompidou, and the Seine are all within walking distance, making this a well-placed base for the city.

Home truths
The spiral staircase to the upper floor is narrow and steep, so it may not suit everyone in your group. If you're travelling with anyone with limited mobility, it's worth bearing in mind that the upper bedroom and shower are only reachable via these stairs.
The apartment is on the smaller side and sound carries easily between the floors – something worth knowing if your group keeps different schedules or hours.
There's no lift here. You'll need to be able to climb stairs to reach the entrance of the home on the first floor, with a further flight of stairs once inside.
The ceiling in some areas is on the low side. It might not be suitable for taller guests. The ceiling height on the mezzanine is approximately 1.90 m.
