Perched in the hills of western Crete, this stone villa trades beach-town bustle for olive-covered valleys and mountain views that stretch all the way to the sea. The pool terrace is where you'll spend most of your time – sun loungers angled toward the hills, the water cool and the horizon wide. Come evening, the terraces shift to something quieter, as the light drops over the valleys and dinner takes shape around the stone-built barbecue and traditional Cretan oven. Chania is around a thirty-minute drive, with restaurants just 2 km away and the coast at Kolatsos 7 km down the road.
