A converted farm building close to the Suffolk Coast & Heaths AONB, this cottage pairs characterful architecture with an easy, breezy layout. Folding doors open the kitchen and bedroom onto the garden, where open fields sit just beyond the lawn. A wood-fired hot tub sits in the courtyard for year-round use, while the log burner makes the cottage a proper retreat when the Suffolk weather has other ideas. Stowmarket, Ipswich, and Snape Maltings are all within driving distance when you fancy a day out.

Home truths
The wood-fired hot tub doesn't have jets and takes a couple of hours to heat up and requires feeding with wood and stirring along the way. Only the briquettes supplied by your host can be used, so factor in the lead time if a soak at a specific hour is part of your plan.
For those with reduced mobility, there's a ground floor bedroom and bathroom here.
Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay. Off-street parking is available.
