Home truths
This home is located within an apartment building, with a shared entrance. Expect to bump into other guests during your stay.
The living space and one bedroom sit on the second floor, while two bedrooms, the second bathroom, and the laundry are on the lower level – you'll be moving between floors regularly during your stay.
If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot – worth requesting in advance to make sure it's ready on arrival.
There's no air conditioning here, so summer stays will rely on natural ventilation and the shade of the surrounding trees.
You'll have two parking spaces in the shared open car park in front of the apartment – unassigned, so spaces may vary.
The shared pool, fitness centre, and bocce ball court are not managed by your host and may not be available year-round. Please check seasonal opening times before your stay if you plan to use these facilities.

About Kings Beach
On the border of California and Nevada, Lake Tahoe is one of the largest bodies of water in the US. As you'd expect, it's an area of astounding beauty, but the lake has also made a name for itself as a centre for both winter sports and water sports, as well as hiking and cycling. The north shore is a bit quieter and more relaxed than the south. While there's still plenty to do (including the annual food and wine festival), you're unlikely to see crowds like you do in other parts of the region.
