Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
Tucked into pine forest above Lake Tahoe, this townhouse trades hotel anonymity for something far more atmospheric – a warm retreat where the lake glitters through the dining room windows and vaulted timber ceilings arc overhead. A wood-burning fireplace anchors the living room on cold mountain evenings, and a private balcony is well placed for breathing in the alpine air. Diamond Peak Ski Resort is less than one-mile away, and the Tahoe Rim Trail and Flume Trail are accessible straight from the neighbourhood – so the mountains are on your doorstep whatever the season.

Home truths
The wood-burning fireplace is not available for guest use, so you'll need to rely on the central heating to keep warm during cooler evenings.
There are two designated covered parking spaces in a shared car park – no street parking is permitted in the area, so both spaces are yours to use.
The barbecue is only available during the summer months, so if you're visiting in winter or shoulder season, you won't be able to use it.
You'll need a car to make the most of the area. The nearest public bus stop is 1.5 miles away, running hourly, and local dining and shops are a short drive rather than a walk.
There's no lift here. You'll need to be able to climb stairs to reach the entrance of the home.
The lead guest must be at least 25 years old.

About Incline Village
On the border of California and Nevada, Lake Tahoe is one of the largest bodies of water in the US. As you'd expect, it's an area of astounding beauty, but the lake has also made a name for itself as a centre for both winter sports and water sports, as well as hiking and cycling. The north shore is a bit quieter and more relaxed than the south. While there's still plenty to do (including the annual food and wine festival), you're unlikely to see crowds like you do in other parts of the region.
