A Tahoe City townhouse that earns its keep across all four seasons – with ski storage at the door for runs at Palisades Tahoe or Northstar in winter, and two sandy beaches less than half a mile on foot when the snow melts. The living space is connected and sociable, with a fireplace and large windows that frame the aspen trees outside. The shared swimming pools, sauna, and tennis and pickleball courts round it off nicely year-round.

About Carnelian Bay

On the border of California and Nevada, Lake Tahoe is one of the largest bodies of water in the US. As you'd expect, it's an area of astounding beauty, but the lake has also made a name for itself as a centre for both winter sports and water sports, as well as hiking and cycling. The north shore is a bit quieter and more relaxed than the south. While there's still plenty to do (including the annual food and wine festival), you're unlikely to see crowds like you do in other parts of the region.
