The magic of outdoor living is waiting for you at this home. Carnelian West Beach is a two-minute walk away, Gar Woods Grill & Pier is directly opposite, and four paddle boards are ready to carry you straight onto the lake. Come evening, the patio is the perfect place to gather and there's a games lawn as well as a fire in the living room to keep you cosy. When the snow arrives, the pine forest outside becomes its own spectacle, and Northstar Ski Resort is a fifteen-minute drive. It's the kind of place that works hard in every season.

About Carnelian Bay

On the border of California and Nevada, Lake Tahoe is one of the largest bodies of water in the US. As you'd expect, it's an area of astounding beauty, but the lake has also made a name for itself as a centre for both winter sports and water sports, as well as hiking and cycling. The north shore is a bit quieter and more relaxed than the south. While there's still plenty to do (including the annual food and wine festival), you're unlikely to see crowds like you do in other parts of the region.
