Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
Perched among the pines of Truckee, this house is a great base across all four seasons – but it really comes into its own when the temperature drops. An oversized hot tub seats up to twelve on its own dedicated terrace, the covered deck has a fireplace for evenings that linger, and the main bedroom lets you fall asleep to crackling embers. Vaulted ceilings and forest views give the living spaces real presence. A free resort shuttle stops at the driveway, connecting you directly to Northstar Village for skiing, dining, and everything in between.

About Truckee
On the border of California and Nevada, Lake Tahoe is one of the largest bodies of water in the US. As you'd expect, it's an area of astounding beauty, but the lake has also made a name for itself as a centre for both winter sports and water sports, as well as hiking and cycling. The north shore is a bit quieter and more relaxed than the south. While there's still plenty to do (including the annual food and wine festival), you're unlikely to see crowds like you do in other parts of the region.
