Right on the edge of Lake Tahoe, this Kings Beach apartment is set within a community along half a mile of private lakefront, where the water shimmers through the pines just beyond the covered patio. When you're not out on the fishing and boating dock, the year-round communal pool, fed naturally by hot springs, is hard to resist, with mountain views rolling out beyond the water. Come evening, the gas fireplace makes an easy draw, and Northstar California Resort is a fifteen-minute drive for skiing or mountain biking depending on the season.

You'll need to navigate eight stairs to reach the entrance of this home and three steps down into the living room, so this apartment isn't fully step-free.
You'll have access to the on-site swimming pool, fitness centre, sauna, tennis court, and clubhouse here. They're shared with the community's other guests.
There's no air conditioning here, but fans are available.
The electric grill on the patio is only available during the summer months, and charcoal grills are strictly prohibited in the county – using one carries a $1,500 fine.
Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay.
You'll have two parking spaces in a shared community car park on a first-come, first-served basis. In winter conditions, four-wheel drive or snow chains may be necessary to reach the apartment safely.
The shared community amenities – pool, gym, and sauna – will be closed between 6th November and 13th November 2026.

About Kings Beach
On the border of California and Nevada, Lake Tahoe is one of the largest bodies of water in the US. As you'd expect, it's an area of astounding beauty, but the lake has also made a name for itself as a centre for both winter sports and water sports, as well as hiking and cycling. The north shore is a bit quieter and more relaxed than the south. While there's still plenty to do (including the annual food and wine festival), you're unlikely to see crowds like you do in other parts of the region.
