Ski-in/ski-out access from Park City Mountain Resort – Utah's largest ski area – is about as good a front-door perk as mountain travel gets. Back inside, the living and dining area is generous enough to spread out after a long day on the slopes, and the gas fireplace makes warming up feel effortless. When you're ready to venture further, Main Street's restaurants and shops are less than a five-minute walk, with the free trolley nearby. The sheltered patio and shared hot tub round things out nicely for slower evenings.

Home truths

  • One of the en-suite bathrooms has two doors and can also be accessed from outside of the bedroom.

  • The apartment sits in a multi-unit building, so you may occasionally hear noise from neighbouring units.

  • The apartment is on the ground floor and built into a hillside, so natural light is limited – worth keeping in mind if you prefer bright, airy interiors.

  • The shared hot tub is managed by the building's homeowners' association and closes seasonally – typically in spring (April–May) and autumn (September–November). Check availability before you book if a soak is a priority.

  • The free bus network and Main Street trolley make it easy to get around without a car, but having one gives you access to Deer Valley Resort (2.5 miles away) and further afield spots like Utah Olympic Park. There is covered garage parking for one car here. Free on-street parking is also available.

  • The lead guest must be at least 25 years old.

It’s not just about the powder here, though – every winter, the Robert Redford-owned Sundance Resort hosts the eponymous film...
