Perched above Porthcothan Bay on Cornwall's north coast, this house puts sea views in front of you from the garden, the dining room, and the top-floor main suite – and golden sands are a short stroll away. The enclosed garden is a proper outdoor living space, with a wide stone terrace for the charcoal barbecue and a wood-fired hot tub positioned to catch the coastal scenery well into the evening. When the Atlantic air turns cool, the living room fire earns its keep. The South West Coast Path links the bay to the neighbouring coves at Treyarnon and Constantine, and Padstow is a short drive away.
