Perched above Kukio Bay, this villa looks out across the Pacific toward Maui and the Kohala Mountains – from both levels. The covered terrace is where you'll want to be at dusk, firing up the barbecue as the sun drops into the ocean, while the main suite's private lanai offers a front-row seat for winter whale migrations. Pocket glass doors dissolve the line between the wood-panelled interior and the tropical gardens beyond, and the outdoor shower set among the palms is a nice reminder that this is Hawaii done properly. Golf carts are included for exploring the resort.
