Home truths
There's no on-site parking here, and finding a space in Kensington can be tricky. We recommend arriving by public transport – High Street Kensington Underground Station is just a two-minute walk away.
The building has no lift, so you'll be using the stairs to reach the lower ground floor on every arrival and departure – worth bearing in mind if you have heavy luggage or any mobility considerations.
If you're travelling with a baby or toddler, your host can arrange a travel cot on request – just flag it in advance as availability isn't guaranteed.
This is a studio apartment, so you'll be living and sleeping in one space.

About Kensington
Affluent and incredibly central, Kensington is a great base for exploring London on foot. Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park are on your doorstep and so are the Victoria and Albert, Science, and Natural History Museums. The streets are attractive and well maintained (grand, white stucco facades aplenty) and your neighbours will be a wealthy, conservative set. Lots of positives but probably not the place to let your hair down.
