Home truths

  • There's no on-site car park and no private parking with the apartment. Parking in London can be tricky, so we recommend arriving by public transport – High Street Kensington Underground Station is just a two-minute walk away.

  • The building has no lift, so you'll be navigating stairs to reach the apartment. If you're travelling with heavy luggage or have mobility considerations, it's worth factoring this in before you book.

  • If you're travelling with a young child, your host can arrange a travel cot on request – availability isn't guaranteed, so do ask ahead of arrival.

  • This is a studio apartment, so you'll be living and sleeping in one space.

Local guide

About Kensington

Affluent and incredibly central, Kensington is a great base for exploring London on foot. Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park are on your doorstep and so are the Victoria and Albert, Science, and Natural History Museums. The streets are attractive and well maintained (grand, white stucco facades aplenty) and your neighbours will be a wealthy, conservative set. Lots of positives but probably not the place to let your hair down.
