Snow-dusted peaks fill the windows of the main living area, where a stacked-stone fireplace makes it easy to lose a whole evening. The kitchen is geared for cooking in earnest, and when the mood shifts downstairs, there's a games room with a gas fireplace and direct patio access. Outside, a private hot tub looks out over frost-covered hills – the kind of view that earns its place. The Jordanelle Express Gondola is less than 2 miles away, with an on-demand ski shuttle removing any need to drive, and Jordanelle State Park is just half a mile from the door.

Home truths
One of the bedrooms sleeps up to four people in two double beds – we think it might be best suited to children.
One of the en-suite bathrooms has two doors and is accessible from two of the bedrooms.
The games room and hot tub are on the lower level while the main living and dining areas are above – expect to move between floors often when entertaining across the group.
Your host provides a starter pack of essentials – paper towels, dishwasher tablets, bin bags, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, toilet paper, detergent, and basic condiments. You'll need to pick up anything extra during your stay.
There is a front-door camera at this home, so you should be aware that arrivals and departures are monitored.
Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay. There's parking for four cars here – two in the garage and two on the driveway.

It’s not just about the powder here, though – every winter, the Robert Redford-owned Sundance Resort hosts the eponymous film...
