A central London apartment with a private balcony is rarer than it sounds, and this one in Lambeth North delivers it with a welcome sense of greenery – a outdoor pause between the city's demands. Inside, two bathrooms make the practicalities of sharing easy. The South Bank, Waterloo, and the London Eye are all close by, while Bermondsey Street's indie shops, Maltby Street Market, and the White Cube gallery extend the cultural reach considerably further than most addresses in this part of the city.

About Lambeth
Lambeth is an unpretentious and centrally located part of town, located on the south side of the Thames, directly opposite the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben. It's home to the Imperial War Museum and though it's got its own historic palace, Lambeth isn't a grand area. It's a good place to experience real London though and works well as a base for exploring Westminster and the famous cultural hotspot of the nearby South Bank.
