A big, light-filled apartment in Paris's Mail district, this is the kind of place that makes a group trip feel effortless. Bay windows draw natural light deep into the living space, and the designer kitchen is built for cooking together rather than taking turns. Four calm bedrooms mean everyone gets room to breathe. When you're ready to explore, Passage des Panoramas is around seven-minutes on foot, the Louvre a thirteen-minute walk, and Palais Garnier sixteen – making this a quietly well-positioned base for a full Paris itinerary.

Home truths

  • Two of the four bedrooms do not have windows or natural light, so they are noticeably darker and more compact than the others.

  • Key collection takes place at the host's office a short walk from the apartment rather than on-site. It is worth factoring this in when you arrive, especially if your group is large or you have a lot of luggage.

  • If you are travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair. You will need to request them in advance.

  • As is common in France, the toilets may be separate from the bathroom.

  • Parking here can be tricky, so we recommend sticking to easily accessible public transport where possible.

About Paris

Standing proud as the most visited city in Europe – they don't call Paris the city of lights for nothing. As a city that sparkles even on the gloomiest of days, beauty can be found in the most unlikely of places, whether that's simply by admiring how the light hits the whitewashed Haussmanian architecture or when taking the first bite of a freshly baked croissant at the "boulangerie". Paris truly...
