A calm, light-filled apartment in the Auteuil quarter of the 16th arrondissement, where the neighbourhood retains a village-like pace despite its central address. Both bedrooms face the quieter courtyard side of the building, making mornings restful, while the living room's large street-facing window draws in the kind of soft Parisian light that makes staying in feel worthwhile. The apartment has no air conditioning, which can make it feel stuffy in summer.
The lift is small, and stepping out on the first floor still requires a few additional steps to reach the apartment door. Worth bearing in mind if you're travelling with anyone who has limited mobility.
