Home truths
There's no air conditioning here, so summers can get warm – particularly during heatwaves. The blackout blinds help keep rooms cooler during the day, and fans are provided, though several guests have found them less effective in intense heat.
You're in Levallois-Perret, just outside the Paris city limits – a calm, residential neighbourhood rather than a central arrondissement. Most of the major sights are a twenty to thirty-minute metro ride away, so factor in a little travel time when planning your days.
If you're travelling with a baby or toddler, your host can provide a cot. It's worth confirming availability in advance.
