Wind up the spiral staircase to the first-floor bedroom, where a king-sized bed and deep mattress make it easy to sleep well. The sheltered courtyard is ideal for morning coffee or a long lunch in summer, and two pubs are just a few minutes' walk away when you feel like venturing out. Lyme Regis and the Jurassic coastline are roughly forty minutes south.
