Nestled in the rolling hills of Chianti, this villa has centuries of history woven into its walls. Once leased by the father of Mona Lisa (yes, that Mona Lisa), it’s now a vineyard producing some of the best wine in the region. Designed with family gatherings in mind, there are plenty of spaces to come together over long, leisurely lunches – our favourite is the courtyard, complete with its own pizza oven. Then, of course, there’s the pool, impossible to miss and perfect for lazy afternoons. Inside, multiple sitting rooms and a mix of bedroom and family suites ensure everyone has their own space to unwind. And if exploring takes your fancy, Greve in Chianti is just a short drive away, while Florence, the Renaissance capital, is around an hour by car.
