Set alone among the UNESCO-protected Moscato hills, this villa offers a rare kind of quiet – just vineyards rolling in every direction and no other guests in sight. The pool looks directly out over those vine rows, making a swim feel like a slow immersion in the landscape. Inside, five en-suite bedrooms – each named after a local tree – are calm and considered, with oak floors and wide windows onto the garden or hills. Home truths
This home has underfloor cooling. While it keeps rooms at a consistent temperature during the hotter months, it’s not as strong as traditional air conditioning.
If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a travel cot on request – worth arranging before arrival so everything is ready when you get there.
The pool is heated from approximately April to October and kept at a minimum of 18°C, though the exact temperature depends on the weather and can't be guaranteed.
You'll need a car to make the most of your stay here. The villa sits alone among the vineyards outside Castiglione Tinella, and the nearest towns – Canelli and Neive – are a fifteen-minute drive away. There's parking for four cars – two of them under cover.
