Sedona's red rock formations have a way of taking over every room here, and this house is built to let them. Walls of windows frame the buttes from the living and dining areas, while both king bedrooms open onto their own patios with a direct view of the same formations – coffee outside before the house stirs is a pleasure. After a day on the trails, the saltwater hot tub in the desert garden is the obvious reward, with skies that go properly dark once the light drops. Bell Rock is a fifteen-minute drive, Courthouse Butte about sixteen.
