A hilltop villa in the heart of Chianti, this restored 1537 home carries its age well – centuries-old beams, medieval stonework, and a curated collection of vintage pieces provide character that newer homes simply can't replicate. The layout spans the main villa and a guest house, so there's plenty of space for everyone. Outside, the pool sits in a secluded garden with views stretching across the surrounding hills, while a pizza oven and grill tucked into a shaded corner make evenings feel effortlessly unhurried. A private chef welcome dinner is included with every stay, and daily housekeeping means you can simply relax. Florence, Siena, and the Chianti wine villages are all within reach for day trips.

Home truths
This home is spread across a three-bedroom main house and a two-bedroom guest house. The guest house includes a small kitchenette, while the main house features the primary living areas and a larger kitchen.
The two single beds in the third bedroom can be converted into a queen-sized bed upon request. The two single beds in the fifth bedroom are day beds. As this room is located on the lower level, we feel it's best suited to children who are comfortable with a smaller space and limited natural light.
The main house spans three levels, so you'll be using the stairs regularly – it won't suit those with limited mobility.
The villa is tucked into the hills in a rural estate, so you'll need a car to reach Florence, Siena, and the local villages.
Daily housekeeping is included with your stay, six days a week.
Upon arrival, you'll enjoy a welcome dinner prepared by a private chef.
Air conditioning is only available in the bedrooms.
