Rue Sainte-Anne in the 1st arrondissement is one of those addresses that makes everything easier – the Louvre is ten minutes on foot, Place Vendôme a seven-minute stroll, and Pyramides metro is a two-minute walk should you want to venture further afield. The apartment itself sits in a period building and feels like a real Parisian home rather than a rental: book-lined shelves in the bedroom, a calm living space for unwinding after a day of museums and markets, and enough room to share meals without feeling cramped.

Home truths
Renovation work is ongoing in a neighbouring building overlooking the interior courtyard, having started in late July 2026. The level of noise may vary day to day – your host can give you the latest update before you book.
There's no lift here. You'll need to be able to climb stairs to reach the entrance of the home.
There is no air conditioning here. The hosts recommend opening windows in the morning and evening to keep things comfortable, and that works well at cooler times of year – but if you're visiting in the height of summer, it's worth coming prepared.
This is the hosts' primary residence, so you may find a few personal belongings and some locked private storage areas within the apartment.
As is common in France, one of the toilets is separate from the bathroom.

About Louvre - Palais Royal
Where to begin with one of Paris's most majestic and central districts? This was the stomping ground of historic kings, and now its grand palaces and squares are home to museums, galleries, government offices, and luxury shopping. With no fewer than three Royal palaces, the attractions are plentiful in this neck of the woods. If checking out the Mona Lisa with throngs of tourists isn't your thing, we recommend exploring some of the area's quieter hidden gems. Colonnes de Burennes has a gorgeous secret square and Alain Ducasse's world-famous French restaurant 'Le Meurice' is just around the corner.
