A 200-year-old Tuscan villa near Cecina, with centuries-old vaulted ceilings and a characterful fireplace in the living room, sets the scene for a stay that's equal parts historic and comfortable. The gardens open up views across vineyards to the sea and, on a clear day, the islands of Elba and Corsica – and when the group wants to be active, there's a pickleball court, basketball ring, boules court, and table tennis to keep everyone busy.

Home truths
The fifth bedroom has two single beds on the mezzanine level which are semi-open to the space below, so privacy is limited. This room works well for a family with young children.
If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair. It's worth requesting these in advance to make sure everything is ready on arrival.
Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car to explore more easily. You'll have four parking spaces at the villa, so larger groups arriving by car should have no trouble.
