Set on a hillside in Vista, this house is built around its backyard – a proper one, with a private pool, hot tub, and four separate seating areas that make it easy for a larger group to spread out. An outdoor fireplace and barbecue grill take care of evenings, while a covered patio offers shade when the afternoon sun is at its peak. Inside, the double-height living room opens directly to the patio, and the main bedroom comes with a movie projector for quieter nights in. Moonlight Amphitheatre, one of Southern California's favourite outdoor venues, is a twelve-minute drive away.
