On one of Knightsbridge's most coveted streets, this Grade II listed house balances period character with comfort. Original artwork runs from the entrance hall through to the guest bathroom, and the gas fireplace in the living room gives the space a warmth that feels properly residential rather than transient. French doors open onto a wraparound first-floor balcony – a rare find in central London. Equally rare is the access to the private gardens of Belgrave Square just around the corner, while Hyde Park is a fourteen-minute walk and Harrods is practically on the doorstep.

Home truths
You'll have your own private entrance here, giving the feel of a standalone London home rather than a traditional apartment.
Parking in this part of Knightsbridge is limited and expensive, so we recommend using the nearby Knightsbridge Underground station – it provides excellent connections across London.
If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair – request them in advance to make sure they're ready for your arrival.
While the fifth bedroom isn't photographed, expect the style and quality to be consistent with the rest of the home.
The third bedroom is arranged with a single-over-double bunk bed – we think it's best suited to a small family or children.

About Knightsbridge
Opulence is the name of the game in Knightsbridge. This is London at its most grand and lavish: an area where many of your neighbours think nothing of picking up their daily groceries at Harrods and taking their dogs for a walk in Hyde Park before breakfast. Ideally located for exploring many of central London's key sights, Knightsbridge is also a mecca for high-end shopoholics. Thrifty types should look elsewhere!
