Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
A restored 19th-century farmhouse set among olive groves and meadows in the Chianti countryside, this home is the kind of place where days stretch out pleasantly and nobody's in a hurry to leave. Two self-contained lodgings share a central courtyard and pool area, so groups can come together for meals on the terrace or retreat to their own fireplace when the evening cools. The private pool looks back towards the stone farmhouse across the valley, and six hectares of gardens and ancient olive groves are yours to wander. Florence, Siena, and San Gimignano are all easy day trips by car.

Home truths
This home comprises two adjoining residences.
While one of the bedrooms and four of the bathrooms aren't photographed, expect the style and quality to be consistent with the rest of the home.
The pool is open from approximately mid-May to the end of October, so if you're visiting outside those months you won't be able to use it. It's worth checking the exact opening date with your host if you're travelling in early May.
If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide cots and highchairs – request these in advance to make sure everything is ready on arrival.
The laundry room has its own keyed entrance separate from both lodgings, so you'll need to step outside to reach the dryer and washing machine.
Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay. There's free parking for up to four cars on the driveway.
