A 15th-century riad tucked into the Marrakesh Medina, just a moment's walk from Madrassa Ben Youssef and two minutes from the entrance to the souks. The open-air courtyard – framed by gold doors – is the heart of the home, and each morning Fatima lays out a traditional Moroccan breakfast there. Come evening, the roof terrace is where most guests end up, watching the medina sky darken with a projector ready for movie nights. Jemaa el-Fna Square is a fifteen-minute walk when you want the energy of the city; back here, it feels entirely your own.

Home truths

Well-behaved pets are welcome to accompany you during your stay for no additional charge.
You'll need to be able to manage stairs here – it may not suit guests with limited mobility.
The stairs are part of an old structure and can be particularly tricky for older guests or anyone with limited mobility.
The roof terrace catches full sun during the day and gets very hot – it's best enjoyed in the evening when it comes into its own.
Taxis can't reach the riad directly – the nearest drop-off point is an eight-minute walk away.
This is a lived-in home. You should expect some of the host's personal belongings to be present during your stay.
